A surprising boat, not what I had expected at all. One of those rare wooden boats that has been kept in tremendous physical and mechanical order. This ensures that the next owner has a marvellous head start and will only need to keep on top of routine maintenance instead of embarking on a lifelong project. She genuinely is ready to sail away. Well equipped for sailing if a little light in the luxuries department. That said, I imagine those of you in the market for a sturdy classic wooden boat would not be put off by an abscence of power showers and such like. There is room to modify some of the facilities without ruining the traditional style of the boat.
The item I particularly like is the solid fuel heater mounted in the saloon.

A very, very pretty little wooden day sailor/club racer. With a gleaming, varnished hull, this boat looks great and she has also had some great results in her class.
Below deck are 4 berths and a clever but simple table, but on the downside, her 'micro kitchen' is very 'micro' and she has no heads.

As you can quite clearly see from the pictures, this is a working fishing boat. Luxury accommodation it is not. But as a solid sea going boat these Aquastars are hard to beat.
The relatively new Mercruiser gives her a good degree of power with which to stem the tide. A reasonable level of electronics should also see you on the fish and then safely home.
I feel that I can use the phrase " in need of some TLC" here without causing any offence because it is what it says on the packet; a working boat.

Now here we have spectacular luxury motor yacht! The finish is excellent, cherry wood joinery and, as you would expect, a high specification.
I really like the layout on this yacht – especially the spiral staircase leading down to the owner’s suite. Everything is well thought through, with space for fine dining, relaxing at the coffee table or having a more informal BBQ up on the flybridge.
Her twin Volvo D12-615’s will allow her to cruise at 18-20 knots, but she made 25 knots on her delivery trip from Southampton to Portsmouth, very respectable.
This beautiful yacht is fantastic value for money – just compare her price with others of this size on the market at the moment, and you’ll see what I mean. In the unlikely event that you need a boat in which to outrun the Miami Vice Squad, this is probably the one for you. Twin 7.4 litre petrol V8's pack a terrific punch and her owner tells me that she’s good for over 70 mph. Outside she looks simply stunning, with timeless classic fast-boat looks that give an impression of speed even when she’s tied up to the dock. Inside there’s a perfectly workable interior, with sumptuous upholstery arranged in a deep vee berth and two smaller settees. There’s a discreet heads compartment and a small galley with the all-important fridge. A ski-pole and sun-pad confirms that the boat is designed for water sports of all kinds. This is a striking boat with breath-taking performance, which is in fine condition, considering her age.
