Remarkably fine surviving example of 1930s British motor yacht designing and building. Testimony to the quality of design, materials and work done by John Silver's yard on the Clyde, when it was a pioneering exponent of quality production boatbuilding. Much care that has been lavished on her under recent ownerships. Rarely have we come across a motor yacht of her type and age in such remarkable, turnkey condition. CERVEZA has spent equal amounts of time as a coastal cruiser and on inland waters and rivers; she’s ready to keep doing that comfortably and stylishly for many years to ...

Built by Medina Yacht Company in 1965
Little Otter is a much-loved classic Folkboat, offering simple, elegant two-berth cruising and the character of a traditional wooden yacht. I have owned her since 2002 and, after many happy years, the time has come to find her a new custodian.
She is carvel-built in Honduras mahogany on oak frames and is presented in good order throughout. During my ownership, she has benefited from regular care, annual winter maintenance ashore from her River Hamble mooring. Work has been carried out by me, friends and professional yards
Significant recent investment i...

CAPREOLUS was built by R A Newman of Poole in 1960. She (and a number of other USA built classes and types of her era) were directly inspired by vessels such as the famous S&S designed Ocean racing yawl Finisterre. The most prolific designer of the type was Aage Nielsen who went on to design a number of classes for S&S and Hinckley, all very similar to CAPREOLUS. Other typical examples of the type are the 35’ Gumdrop yawls, the Nevins yawls, and the Hinckley Pilot yawls. The design shows a handsome classic profile with a good degree of sheer and a classic transom on a long overh...
