Built by Edel Catamarans of France in 1996, FORCE MAJEURE has only had two owners from new and has only been used for light cruising. Unlike the smaller Edel 35 which were mostly powered by outboard engines, the Edel 36 Aventure is powered by twin inboard diesels giving far greater autonomy and ability to cope with adverse wind conditions.
